Facebook’s WE THE CULTURE program and social community are dedicated to celebrating Black creativity and creating Black equity. Facebook believes Black creators should be celebrated for their contributions to Facebook platforms and the culture at large. The platform amplifies Black creators by providing an outlet, a source, and a community for Black creativity. WE THE CULTURE helps the community feel seen, uplifted, and put on.
Facebook sought Slug’s expertise to to develop and produce Meta’s We The Culture (“WTC”) initiative for Get Into, Culture Journals, Mic On, Creator Spotlight, Culture Con, Meta House, Flex Naija and Afro Punk.
Project Scope:
Content ideation:
Develop ideas and produce content that resonates with the Black community, based on
approved strategic direction. This will be applied across all requested and agreed upon assets.
Creative concepting and production planning:
Apply overarching ideas to consumer-facing assets, plan, align, and prepare for the production of said assets.
Production:
Vendor will produce all creative assets for social media channels.
